Foaming Fury are not charging trainees any money to do the training course.
Have the job that others dream of and join our 6 week course and learn the skills to become a Whitewater River Guide. Foaming Fury is looking for energetic, enthusiastic people to join our successful team. Applicants must have held an open drivers license for one year to work in all areas of our company.
During our training course we will cover all areas of commercial raft guiding and whitewater rescue.
It is a requirement of employment that all applicants obtain an LR bus licence, driver’s authorisation and senior first aid certificate at their own expense before the completion of the course.
By the third week of training all trainees are required to purchase their personal safety equipment at own cost to our standard.
Our company also conducts bus adventure tours to Cape Tribulation with all guides required to conduct.
The job of a river guide is very physically demanding. There are ongoing physical assessments during the course which all trainees must pass. All medical conditions, disabilities and swimming ability must be disclosed prior to interviews.
